In a tweet on Monday morning, Mwangi posed questions to Itumbi concerning the violence the country has witnessed after elections and why justice has not been served to those affected.

In his Mwangi's view, Itumbi should champion for justice for victims of injustice as he is championing for his friend Jacque Maribe

"Does this apply to victims of Kenya’s post-election violence and the hundreds of witnesses who were eliminated to delay justice? @OleItumbi is justice important when your friend is the victim?| posed Mwangi in a tweet.

In an earlier tweet on October 14, Itumbi reiterated that justice will be done for his friend Maribe.

Maribe has been in police custody for some time now after her fiance, Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu was arrested on allegations of murdering businesswoman Monica Kimani.

"It has always been said and I agree that, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice."Though it tarries, be sure that Justice will be done my dear friend Jacque Maribe So shall it be done for Monica and Family. So, graciously hear me Lord. Good Week," tweeted Itumbi.
