The angry residents have issued a two week ultimatum to the Kenya National Highway Authority KeNHA, to erect bumps at that area, failure to which they will block the busy highway.

Ihindu residents woke up to shock on Monday after a man was hit by a speeding vehicle and died instantly.

One resident James Kabono claimed the middle aged man was crossing the road when he met his death, while others claimed that at least five people die annually after being hit by over speeding vehicles.

Police from Naivasha took the body to Naivasha sub-county hospital mortuary.
