Baringo senator Gideon Moi has sent his message of condolences to friends and families of the victims of Eldama Ravine road accident.
Addressing his social media followers on Wednesday, Gideon expressed his grief and sorrow following the tragic accident that left five dead.
"I am greatly saddened to hear the news of a deadly road Carnage in Eldama Ravine town Baringo county where 5 persons all of them Young men and women in twenties were tragically killed early in the morning of this first day of the new year," wrote Moi.
The senator later sent his sympathies to the family and friends of the victims. He assured of standing with them in prayers during the tiring moments. Senator Gideon later cautioned drivers and other road users to be more careful during this holiday season to avoid such careless loss of innocent souls.
"I wish to convey my personal heartfelt sympathies to friends and families of the five souls that perished. My thoughts and prayers are with the parents and siblings and also with the people of Lembus Kwen Eldama Ravine, who will need fortitude and courage to come to terms with their grief over this terrible incident in their community," he added.
The senator went ahead to urge drivers and other road users to exercise caution during this new year season.
"I urge all drivers and other road users to be extra careful during this festive season," he added.
