In a statement on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, the lawmaker blamed individuals who used to connect Kenyan kidney transplant patients with Indian hospitals for making up untrue and evil information concerning the operations of his hospitals for their selfish gains.

Mishra asserted that the introduction of affordable kidney transplant services in Kenya courtesy of Mediheal and other top hospitals in Kenya had hit the organizers of the Kenya overseas treatment and the Indian hospitals involved in the clandestine business hard after losing clients.

"The ambiguous, amorphous, malicious and mischievous kidney smuggling racket associated with Mediheal Group of Hospitals is a culmination of a medical tourism to India gone south," read part of the post.

He dismissed allegations of involving organ smuggling and reiterated that they were 'crystal propaganda'.

"Organ smuggling by Mediheal is crystal propaganda conceived by top notch Indian hospitals whose revenue has sharply taken a nosedive," he said.

On Friday, the Kesses MP who is also a close ally to Deputy President William threatened to resign after his critics pointed fingers at his Mediheal group of hospitals after accusations of being involved in kidney smuggling racket.

The MP hit out on his political enemies for cooking up information with an aim of mudslinging his name for political expediency.
