AFC Leopards are set to loan out goalkeeper Edwin Mukolwe for 2018 season.

The club's chairman Dan Mule has confirmed this and said the young player needs enough playtime instead of sitting on the bench.

Mukolwe has been Ingwe's third choice goalkeeper after Gabriel Andika and Ian Otieno.

"Mukolwe is a good young keeper but sitting on bench isn't good for him because he's not growing at all. We want him to play more but he can't get the play time here at the moment," Mule said.

However, the club hasn't yet secured a team for him.

"We are trying to find clubs to loan him to," Mule added as reported by Futaa.

The young custodian joined AFC Leopards in January 2016 where he was signed from Kakamega High School upon completing his studies in late 2015.
