World leading specialist in global aircraft management AJW Group has appointed Kenya Airways Technical Director Martyn Haines.
According to reports, Haines will play a similar role for the AJW Group as he has been appointed Technical Director as well.
As a result Haines will be in charge of technical standards and best practices across all divisions of the company’s business affairs.
He brings more than 39 years of experience in the industry to the company as he is well known for his expertise in aircraft leasing, MRO and airline operations.
During his time with Kenya Airways he oversaw the delivery of a cost effective operation for their fleet of circa 40 Boeing 737, 777, 787, and Embraer E190 aircraft and associated MRO facilities.
He is well known for his business managerial skills as he also served as several senior engineering and technical management roles at Virgin Atlantic Airways.
Now Haines will report directly to Chief Operating Officer of AJW Group Gavin Simmonds and will work from the company’s headquarters in the United Kingdom.
