Let's assume that you did right with this election. And that Maraga and company conspired to overturn it based on technicalities.
Or alternatively, NASA faked documents that it then handed over to the supreme court to overturn the elections. And further that they covered their tracks so well you can't forward the evidence to authorities to deal with them.
Assume that Msando was not killed by people bent on tampering with the election results. And that James Muhati who you reinstated was unfairly accused of not cooperating with auditors.
Further lets deduce that Chebukati lied about a fake username created in his account that changed figures more than 9000 times.
Maybe presume that losing all those cases in court and making all those legal blunders that have now resulted in more people being candidates less than 2 weeks to the election despite you being a lawyer and paying millions to top lawyers are all a result of bad luck as opposed to a sign of incompetence.
Lets also fancy that you are very ready to do your work well and you have delivered the best election Kenya could ever have.
Raila, Uhuru and yourself are all children of God. Let me now assume that Raila is an evil man with evil designs and you Chiloba is a servant of God who strives to do well by God.
By this assumption, I am thus placing you on a higher pedestal and holding you to higher ideals than RAO.
Question: Must Kenyans continue to die because you don't want to resign? The perception is that police are killing to protect you from leaving office. How many more lives have to be lost?
You may say that even if you resign RAO will still call for demos and Uhuru will still order police to kill citizens. But please could you just get it out of your hands? Resign!
Give up your rights for the sake of the children of God who are being killed and maimed in Nairobi and Luo Nyanza.
