After a chaotic Monday in Kisumu following Supreme Court ruling that upheld President Uhuru Kenyatta election, youth in Kisumu have taken a new move.

The youth were spotted on Tuesday morning making roadblocks on major roads leading in and out of Kisumu town with motorist surprised of lack of police interventions.

The angered thugs blocked the road with huge rocks at Kisiani and Maseno among other areas.

The youth have been collecting money from vehicles known to be owned by Luo businessmen and making efforts to get hold of people from some tribes who might be trying to make their way out of the town due to fear.

“Vehicles are only meant for Luos and Luhyas. Any Kikuyu in the bus should step out before we come for him inside,” said one of the youth while collecting money from the driver.

A large group of frustrated demonstrators set manhunt of people from Kikuyu and Kalenjin tribes in Lolwe Estate following reports that they were taking refuge in the one of the high class residential areas in Kisumu.

Those found were flashed out and their properties looted. They insist they don’t want Kenyatta beneficiaries in their land.

Meanwhile Matatu operators from Central Kenya and Rift Valley origins have pulled off their vehicles from the same roads fearing attacks from the angered youth.
