Embakasi East parliamentary aspirant Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino says he will not concede defeat should he be rigged during ODM primaries.

Already, the ODM party has issued a tentative calendar that shows dates for primaries in various regions with Elections Board chair Judy Pareno maintain that transparency and fairness will carry the day.

But Owino has dared opposition leader Raila Odinga to clear incumbent John Omondi whom he accuses of being in possession of ‘fake’ academic credentials.

“I will not concede in nominations especially when they are dubious. Odinga must know that,” he said on Tuesday during a youth meeting at ODM house.

The firebrand student leader added: “My competitor is in possession of fake papers and I am watching to see whether he is cleared to contest. We can’t allow such mediocrity in ODM.”

Mr. Owino went into historical records for serving as SONU chairman for three terms of one year and is set to retire in April.

It is during his Tenure University of Nairobi recorded periodical deadly strikes that even led to suspension of hundreds of students.
