Embakasi East MP, Paul Ongili otherwise known as has dominated headlines following his arrest and firm stance against the governmnt.
However, the MP now believes the government is now conspiring to have him charged with treason.
During an interview on Hot 96 morning show, the legislator went as far as to claim the state was planning to have him sentenced to death.
Crimes deemed treasonable include; sedition, intent to undermine or overthrow the government, harm or kill the President or instigate or engage in war against the Republic.
Babu was arrested on Monday 25 September and was charged with subversion, offensive language and incitement to violence.
The MP was accussed to have abused the President where he referred to him as ‘mtoto wa mbwa.
He, in the past week accused officers of trying to inject him with mercury.
Despite all this Babu has maintained that he will not relent in his fight for justice.
