Many of Nakuru County’s all-time academic giants retained their top positions in the 2017 KCPE exam.

St Peter’s Elite School, a private school in Gilgil sub-county, produced the best candidate in Nakuru County in the 2017 KCPE exams.

Gathoni Macharia emerged top in the county after scoring 447 marks.

Others from the school who scored top marks are Sharon Muthoni, who scored 444 marks and Lewis Mosinko who scored 415 marks.

Parents at the school broke into song and dance immediately the results were announced.The school produced the top girls in the county, Gathoni Macharia, and Sharon Muthoni.

Little known school, Kagaki Primary School in Rongai produced eight of the top candidates in Nakuru County who scored 400 marks and above.

Lion’s Primary School, an all-time academic giant also produced one of the top candidates, Kamau Samuel Muturi, who scored 402 marks.Moi Kabarak Primary School also produced more than five candidates with 400 marks and above.
