We idolize them and place them on a pedestal that often seems hard to shake. We expect nothing short of perfection from them.

That is just not reasonable! One of the hardest things for fans to understand is when celebrities and public figures fall through hard financial times. It is almost like a taboo. But why not? Their careers can get stuck too, their businesses can go to the ground too. It is often hard for fans to accept mistakes made by the people they hold in such high esteem. If you can say something wrong unexpectedly, if guess they can too. If your fashion risks do not work out sometimes, I guess a celebrity can make poor fashion choices too and have bad hair days too. We cannot stop expecting a lot from celebrities. After all, their extraordinarily high achievements is what draws us to them. However, we can give them a pass when they fall short as we all do. Their marriages get rocky as do ours. As we celebrate our celebrities, let us also appreciate their frailties and not attack them every second.
