Double Olympic Champion David Rudisha is a bereaved, after he lost his younger sister Harriet Rudisha to lung cancer on Saturday.Rudisha mourned his sister who he said will be laid to rest at their home in Kilgoris on Monday December 4.“It’s sad to announce the loss of my younger sister Harriet Rudisha from Lung cancer, the funeral is scheduled on Monday 4th Dec. 2017, at our home Kilgoris town. Thank you,” Mr. Rudisha explained according to Citizen Digital.Rudish explained that Harriet was first diagnosed with TB after which she was taken for further check up at Coptic Hospital where she was found to have developed lung cancer.“She began feeling unwell in 2014 when she was diagnosed with TB, it became worse this year when we took her for more check up at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi and that’s when she was diagnosed with cancer that had unfortunately reached stage four.“She underwent treatment and was discharged after some time. Three days ago she appeared very relaxed, watched TV, and then went to sleep .It like she had an attack at night and unfortunately passed on.As a family we are sad to have lost a loved one but we are preparing for her burial that take place on Monday,” Rudisha added
