NASA affiliate MPs who lost in the various parliamentary select committee leaderships have been told to stop blaming ODM party.
Nyando MP Jared Okello said MPs who wished to be chairpersons of any committee had the opportunity to campaign.
Okello said the process was free, fair and transparent noting that it beats no logic for any NASA affiliate MP to blame ODM party for their loss.
He noted that there is an attempt to create friction within NASA coalition using the recently constituted parliamentary committees.
“We know that Jubilee is pushing such narratives to ensure that NASA does not hold anymore but I want to tell them that it is cheap to propagate such a propaganda,” he said.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu on Saturday, Okello said any MP from NASA outfit who failed to clinch any position in the committees should blame themselves.
He said NASA has lesser numbers compared to Jubilee party in parliament and there is no way ODM as party could lock out its affiliate members from the committees.
Okello said it was persuasion that could deliver committee leadership for NASA legislators and dismissed talks of ODM locking out other MPs.
