[Photo|Salim Mvurya]Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has slammed the Opposition's National Super Alliance (Nasa), accusing them of spreading propaganda.He said Nasa, led by Raila Odinga, was spreading rumour stories about President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee government, and were good at rhetorics and twisting Kenyans' minds."They are very good at propaganda. They are best at spreading stories, about Jubilee, yet it has been the best performing government," said the former ODM governor.Addressing the press after a meeting with several Jubilee party and affiliate leaders, Saturday, Mvurya who defected from the Opposition, and successfully retained his seat through Jubilee Party, said Kwale was solemnly behind Uhuru.
"We are kicking off campaigns for reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta. The development projects we have in Kwale is because of Jubilee government. We have roads and the Standard Gauge Railway all because of the Jubilee government," he added.Mvurya was flanked by his Deputy Fatuma Achani, who echoed his sentiments, saying Jubilee was ready to tackle the 'propagandists' (Nasa), in case they once again continue spreading false information about Jubilee government."We are ready for their propaganda. Jubilee has done a lot for the people of Kwale and so let them come with their lies. We're ready for them," she said.
