Former Changamwe MP Ramadhan Kajembe is mourning the demise of his son Seif Kajembe. Seif passed away on Tuesday at 3am in India while undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment.Sudi Kajembe, a brother of the deceased, told journalists that Seif, who died aged 45, was admitted to the Indian hospital two weeks ago. Seif unsuccessfully contested for the Jomvu Parliamentary seat in the 2013 general election. The seat was won by his brother-in-law Badi Twalib. A close friend of the family revealed that Seif was Kajembe’s favorite son and was being groomed to take over his father, The Star has reported."He wanted him to take over from him but Allah had other plans for him,” said the family friend, as quoted by the local daily.Seif is reported to have wanted to contest for the same seat in the August general election but was advised to stay away from politics because of his health condition.Leaders and friends have continued to send their messages of condolence to Kajembe's family.
