Kisii county Governor James Ongwae has slammed a section of media reports that he is in talks with Jubilee agents so that he can ditch NASA and confirmed that he will be supporting Raila’s ambitions and not Uhuru’s.
Speaking in his office on Wednesday the governor said the media reports were based on rumors and he has never held any talks with any Jubilee party agents regarding him ditching his coalition of which he believes in.
“I believe in NASA and we are putting efforts as county leaders to ensure that we work on the agenda that our party leader Raila Odinga will push for as in that we believe Kenya will move on steadily,” said Ongwae
The governor urged his supporters to ensure that they give the county government the maximum support and urged his opponents to stop spreading propaganda that won’t help in the county building.
His remark comes barely few days after a section of media reported that the duo governors Ongwae and Nyagarama were heading to Jubilee.
