Wiper Party deputy leader Shakila Abdalla has condemned and shamed the police for allegedly using force and brutality on NASA supporters during Raila Odinga's  arrival from the United States (US) on Friday.

Shakila says that police were not justified to use brutal force on Raila's supporters.

Speaking to journalists at Lamu Town on Saturday, Shakila said that the police should take responsbility  for the loss of lives and property destruction witnessed on Friday.

She claimed that the acts of violence and lawlessness witnessed on Friday was caused by the police.

The former Lamu Woman Rep said that NASA is committed to peace and that the Friday ugly incidents would not have happened if police kept off.

"Police had no right to use force on peaceful NASA supporters who had come to welcome their leader Raila Odinga", she said.

Shakila claimed that the men and women in uniform provoked the peaceful NASA  supporters, adding that Inspector General of police Joseph Boinnet must apologize to Kenyans and take full responsibility of the mess allegedly caused by the police.

The Wiper deputy leader also hit out at the Jubilee government claiming that it's out to frustrate Raila Odinga.

The former  Lamu  Woman Rep alleged that Jubilee government is using the police to fight Raila.

She said that they (opposition) will not be intimidated in their fight for rule of law and electoral reforms.

Shakila appealed to Kenyans to remain peaceful and join hands with NASA as it fights for reforms.
