(Photo/ the standard.co.ke)Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has appealed to Kenyans to pray for NASA co-principal Kalonzo Muyoka whose wife Pauline Musyoka is sick.Speaking to journalists at Machakos Town on Wednesday, Ndeti urged Kenyans of good will to intercede for the former Vice President (VP) who is attending to his sick wife in Germany.

"I am appealing to Kenyans to put aside their  political differences and remember our brother Kalonzo Musyoka in prayers as he attends to his sick wife," she said.Ndeti said that though the matter is a family private affair it is important for Kenyans to know and render their prayer  support to the family.The former MP at the same time warned social media users and bloggers against intruding into Kalonzo's family and publishing false statements.

She said that some bloggers are taking advantage of the situation to speculate rumors.On Wednsday, rumors emerged on social media that Kalonzo's wife had passed on.In a phone interview with Star from Germany, Kalonzo, however,  dismissed the rumor saying that his wife is alive and responding well to treatment.Kalonzo said that his wife has been sick since December last year and that she had been admitted in a city hospital before being flown to Germany for further treatment.The NASA deputy leader left the country last month days to the October 26 repeat poll to attend to his sick wife.Early this month, a section of opposition politicians led by Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana visited Kalonzo in Germany where his wife is receiving treatment.
