The Kenya Rugby Union (KRU) has agreed to a three year partnership with Bidco Africa in a move that will see Bidco now become the co-sponsors of the Kenya Sevens and Kenya Lionesses.

Along with the new sponsorship the two teams will take part in all the   2017/18 HSBC World Sevens Series tournaments showcasing the company’s logo on their jerseys.

The players will also be given a monthly healthy package from Bidco that will cover them and the people they live with according to KRU chairman Richard Omwela.

Bidco Africa Group Commercial director Chris Diaz, says sports are a key focus for the companies engagement with its customers as it aims to maintain its philosophy of ‘Happy, Healthy, Living”.

KRU is also set to benefit from the partnership as Bidco plans to support players’ diet and nutrition.

“If players want to be in the best possible shape to do well in rugby, then they need to get their diets right,” said Diaz. “Effective training and recovery, coupled with healthy eating, are the key ingredients to performing to your best.”
