A number of leaders from Pokot have pledged their support for Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 candidature.
Led by Sigor Member of Parliament Peter Lochakapong, the leaders said the unity between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto was beyond political interest.
He stated that any attempt to undermine the pact would collapse big-time.
Since theMarch much publicized Harambee House handshake the country has been treated to a heated debate on what it portends to the future of Deputy President William Ruto who is poised to take over from President Kenyatta come 2022.
The lawmaker stated that President Kenyatta and his Deputy were under unity of purpose and as such the famous handshake should not be left to water down the agreement between the duos.
The leaders equally joined the anti-referendum chorus saying the proposed changes were of no benefit to the common man.
