Kuresoi South MP Joseph Tonui has asked the National Super Alliance (Nasa) to shelve the plan to swear in Raila Odinga as president, saying Kenyans are tired of election politics.

Speaking on Sunday at Kapkwen village in Nakuru county, MP Tonui who was accompanied by Keringet ward MCA Antony Rotich asked Nasa leaders to respect the verdict of Kenyans during October 26, 2017, repeat presidential elections.

The lawmaker said the electorate spoke by electing President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Kenyans should be allowed to work instead of continued politicking of elections which came to an end when Uhuru was sworn in as president," he said.

Keringet ward MCA Antony Rotich Kipterter appealed to area locals to acquire NHIF cards, saying it was a sure way of accessing quality health care services.
