Day scholars in Nairobi can now consider attending a national school as they keep daily touch with their homes.

This is after Lenana School opened its doors for the students ahead of the 2018 academic year.

The school sent a statement inviting applications from 2017 KCPE pupils who scored 380 marks and above.

According to Principal William Kemei, the school is working in line with a recent directive from the Ministry of Education calling upon selected national schools in the city to open day wing classes.

“We were given 45 slots. There are so many who have already applied even before we put out the notice,” he said as reported by the Star.

However, applicants must be residents of Nairobi

preferably from Westlands, Dagoretti, Lang'ata and Kibra subcounties.
