Nairobi Police commander Japheth Koome has been promoted to Principal Deputy Inspector General of Kenya Police while the Anti Stock Theft Unit commandant Joseph Ole Tito replaces him as the city's police boss.
However, Kenyans have taken to social media to counter the new deployment for the man who was at the helm of Nairobi security.
