Cases of child abduction and later found raped or sodomized are on the rise at Karagita-Naivasha sub-county, in the last two months.
Concerned residents are now calling upon the government agents to investigate the cases, and bring to book the suspects who are believed to be hiding in the village that is home to thousands of Flower Farms’ workers.
The recent incident involved a three year old girl who on Tuesday was found raped, killed and dumped at Karagita village.
A resident Peter Njuguna said “three more children have been reported missing in the last two weeks and are yet to be found”.
Confirming the story, area chief Hassan Guyo said his office is closely working with the police to investigate and bring to book the unknown suspects.
“I call upon the residents to volunteer and give us the names of people they suspect, so that we can investigate them as quickly as possible” he said.
