After Bahati Ward MCA was captured on camera trying hard to retrieve the body of a boy from a dam, social media users told him to vie for a 'bigger' office.
Kenyans shared MCA Peter Mwangi’s photos on several online platforms including Kenya Political Forum, Nakuru News Online and Bahati ni Kwetu on Facebook.
He is popularly known as Birishiba.
Most of those who commented on the pictures posted at Kenya Political Forum page, described his heroic actions as of a “true patriot and of a “dedicated leader”.
Paul Nuthu posted: “True Patriot” while John Mazera posted: “These are the leaders we want. Big up Mheshimiwa”.
Another Facebook user Kaytan Jnr said: “I think he deserves a bigger position in the government.”
On the Bahati Ni kwetu Facebook page, the pictures attracted good engagements.
Nakuru County Assembly speaker Susan Kihika described the act as 'heroic and selfless'.
