NASA leaders on Wednesday visited their Kibera supporters injured last week Friday when chaos erupted during the celebration of Raila Odinga's return from the US.

The leaders identified and donated cash and foodstuffs such as flour, sugar and cooking oil to the victims.

Majority of the victims suffered limb injuries while others were bandaged with injuries on faces, heads.

Homa Bay women rep Gladys Wanga and Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo led the opposition lawmakers during the visit.

"It's shame for police officers to brutally attack and injure our supporters who were out to welcome their leader. Intimidation will never work or scare us from liberating our country," Wanga said.

Millie said opposition is intact in its quest to push for reforms and justice in the country.

"Our country needs change in its leadership. NASA will continue pushing to change the leadership of this country and free Kenyans from injustices," she said.
