Kuresoi North sub-county Deputy County Commissioner Wilberforce Baraza has urged politicians and all those who are vying for political posts, to distance themselves from inflammatory sentiments that could end up inciting members of the public.
Mr Wilberforce said such politicians will be dealt with in accordance with the law once found culpable.
“We won’t allow any politician to camp in this area with intentions of inciting the public. As such, any politician who will be found inciting one community against the other, will be delt with according to the laws of this country” the deputy county commissioner said.
Accoriding to him, Kuresoi is among the volatile cosmopolitan areas of Nakuru county.
We have beefed up security by making sure that there are more Administaration police officers at Sirikwa, Mau summit, Kamara, Jogoo, Mugetho and Sitoito trading centres .
He was speaking on phone to this writer, after a group of drunken youths disrupted a meeting called by Evelyn Koskey a parliamentary who seeks to unseat area Mp Moses Cheboi.
