Kongoni division officer John Opondo has confirmed that a middle aged man has been killed after an armed group of people from a certain community invaded another community in the troubled Witemere ADC farm on Monday evening.
The attack happened at Center One village in Naivasha, according to a resident who only identified himself as Mukuri for fear of attack.
Several houses were also torched during the attack, with some members of the other community terming it as revenge after three people were arrested for incitement few days ago.
“Am on my way to Ndabibi, but I have reliable sources that confirms to me somebody has been killed,” Opondo said on phone on Monday.
He added that police officers had been sent to the area to calm the situation.
