[Photo/MN]Controversial blogger Robert Alai has criticised President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee administration, following cases of insecurity in Kisumu after Monday's Supreme Court ruling.According to Alai, security had been withdrawn from Kisumu during the ruling which upheld Uhuru's October 26 presidential election win.Alai who has been criticizing the Opposition's NASA coalition, wondered why police officers could be withdrawn from Kisumu at a time when residents required security."Kisumu is still part of Kenya. Security officers have been withdrawn from most parts of Kisumu and residents left on their own. This is wrong. We criticised the killings. That shouldn’t mean that security officers should be withdrawn," Alai said, Monday. After the ruling by six Supreme Court judges, several parts of the lakeside city experienced protests with residents saying Uhuru was not their president. On Sunday, irate youth torched a truck near Central Police Station and blocked Kisumu-Kakamega highway ahead of the ruling.Nyanza regional commissioner Leonard Katana had affirmed his officers were alert ready for any insecurity cases on Monday.
