Deputy President William Ruto has changed his stand against NASA. Ruto surprised NASA by stating that he supports their demands before going to the polls but insisted that the polls must be held on October 26.

Speaking to Foreign Correspondents Association of East Africa members, Ruto promised that Jubilee will not interfere with IEBC and promised to support Raila Odinga’s irreducible minimum demands only if the polls are held on 26.

“If they chose to have a discussion with our competitors on firing a member(s) of staff or changing a supplier, it is fine. As long as there is an election, we will participate,” Ruto said.

However, Ruto criticized Odinga for giving the electoral body tough conditions. He assured them that Jubilee will take part in the repeat polls whether Odinga is on the ballot or not.

Ruto also explained his 2022 presidential plan and welcomed Raila to face him if he wishes. He also talked about his change of relationship between him and Odinga.
