High court judge Abida Aroni has adviced the Iteso community in Bungoma county to solve their issues on county executives out of court.
The elders from the county's nine constituencies obtained an order, from Justice Aroni last Friday, against the vetting of the 10 nominees. They claimed the county governor Wycliffe Wangamati had sidelined them in the list of nominees submitted two weeks ago.
Aroni said the advice was the most practical since a case could hamper Bungoma's development progress because Wangamati has not yet been able to put up a cabinet to date.
The lawyers for the Iteso community Amos Makokha and Ahmed Anuwar are expected to give their response to the advice from Aroni on Thursday afternoon.
