The arrest of the three comes at a time when Naivasha sub-county security committee, is blaming some politicians from Narok County of inciting area residents to invade private farms and graze their animals there.

On Monday , a group of youths suspected to be Maasai Morans from Transmara in Narok County, shot and killed the 50 year old farmer in a fresh inter-clan clashes at ‘Kambi Shetani’ village, Witemere. Several houses were also torched.

Kongoni District Officer (DO) John Opondo has said more police officers have been deployed to the area.

“The three suspects are being questioned before we take them to court. We must respect the rule of law, as well as other people’s privacy. If you feel aggrieved in any way, violence is not the answer, use the right channels to raise your voice like the courts,” Opondo said on phone.
