Police have arrested two suspects who are allegedly inciting people from their community at Kosovo in Naivasha to invade private farms in the area and destroy crops in a disputed piece of land.
A section of the people from the community is said to have forced their animals into the private lands, destroying other people’s property as the ADC land conflict continues.
Kongoni sub-county officer John Opondo confirmed the arrest, saying the two will be prosecuted for inciting members of their ethnic group.
Opondo called on the residents to live in harmony.
“We have deployed enough officers just to make sure there is continued peace at the ADC farm because we don’t want to see any more reports of death, or even property destruction,” Opondo said.
