Ahead of the 2022 presidential elections, Deputy President William Ruto is reorganizing himself to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta for the country's top job.

Part of DP Ruto's strategy is to lure opposition governors, senators and MPs to lead his campaigns at the grass root level.

According to the star, President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to play a major role in DP Ruto's presidential bid.

The paper reports that President Kenyatta will be Ruto's chief campaigner during the polls period

Uhuru who is expected to be sworn in next week Tuesday, will be in charge of coordinating Ruto's campaigns at the national level.

The DP is expected to marshall up NASA governors who are not happy with the top leadership as part of his campaign team team in the coming days.

The opposition has since accused the government of using threats and intimidation to win over NASA governors.
