A taxi driver identified as Mr. Nyakundi, a resident of Syokimau-Nairobi County has all reasons to smile following President Uhuru Kenyatta’s generosity move of clearing his car loan a few days after his car was seriously damaged during running battle between the police and NASA supporters in their quest to welcome the NASA president candidate, Raila Odinga.

The president considered Nyakundi's cries through the Interior PS Karanja Kibicho. A good Samaritan who requested not to be identified offered to pay his car damage expenses.

A video which went viral on social media showed Nyakundi crying and crawling next to his damaged new car which he highly depended on it for upkeep and survival together with his family.

“Remember the cab guy whose car was damaged by goons during the NASA demonstrations? A Good Samaritan had the car repaired and now President Uhuru Kenyatta has cleared the loan the guy had taken to buy the car. It always amazes me how caring, kind and generous our president is! Thank you, PS interior Karanja Kibicho for facilitating this” posted Pauline Njoroge on Facebook
