President Uhuru Kenyatta has a responsibility of shielding Kenya from the shocks of Raila Odinga’s National Resistance Movement. This comes after the opposition guru announced that he has changed NASA coalition into a resistance movement while delivering his much-awaited final announcement at Uhuru Park.

It is the responsibility of President Uhuru Kenyatta to unite Kenyans after winning the repeat polls. He has to device ways of reaching out to Odinga’s strongholds and healing the new and historical wounds. 

Economic growth should be spread to Kisumu and Migori among other regions that have vowed not to respect his presidency. Security and employment has to be offered regardless of the current voting pattern.

Raila has promised to cripple the economy and Uhuru must use his economic know how to stabilize Kenya. The boycott of certain goods will hurt Kenya and wise dialogue is the only solution.

"We will not respect a government that was not elected according to the constitution. We will not respect Uhuru, Ruto, regional commissioners, county commissioners, and all that trash," Raila said at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
