[Photo| the-star]There was song and dance in Kisumu county after Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i released the 2017 KCPE results. The top student in Kisumu county scored 432 marks out of 500.The 14-year-old girl, Nicy Agwenge of MM SHA Primary School, wants to go to Alliance High School.Speaking on her results, Agwenge said she was surprised by the her perfomance. "This has come as a surprise. It took me an hour to check my results. I knew I would pass but not to this extent," she said as quoted by the Star. The top county student aspires to become a neurosurgeon.The school's head teacher Marcellus Okweya noted that the school performed very well compared to last year.The best student countrywide, Goldalyn Kakuya, scored 455 marks.
