It is easy to find yourself in a relationship where it feels like you are going in circles and backward at the same time.
How do you know it is time to let him go? If you are talking to him and you have heard yourself say that again a thousand times before, there is a problem.
If you talked about it in January 3 years ago and over the 3 years and here you are raising the issue one more time, run!
This can literally drive you crazy.
Speaking to someone who is clearly not deaf but he never seems to listen is unfair to you.

Him saying the right things is not enough.
The constant saying one thing and doing the other is blatant ignorance.
I know his words have fooled you for quite a while because they seem to point to great things.
But since his actions are still the same old annoying, immature habits, you gotta drop him like you would any bad habit. Growth is what gives a relationship meaning as the clock ticks.
If he is still acting the same way as he was 5 years ago, he is not going to start growing now.
This is not only bad for him, but it can stunt your growth too. You deserve better than to surround yourself with a man who only seems to bring out the worst in you.
Get a bit selfish and reach for something better. If he never seems to listen when you speak, it is a bad sign.
