A lot of the great accomplishments we see around were just an idea. Someone's dream that just could not go away. Some start as a distant imagination that slowly creeps into reality. The challenges on big dreams are quite bountiful. The road they mean to undertake has only a foggy manual if any at all. The steps to take to get to 'that place' are not quite clear. Pursuing some dreams can prove quite risky. It could involve dropping out of school, putting in a lot of money, taking a lot of time away from other important things in your life or even being deeply misunderstood. This can be extremely scary. It always almost involves one betting all they have on it. Most things that are fulfilling in life have an aspect of great investments. As the business community constantly reminds us, the greater the investment, the greater the profits. Big dreams require more work. You need to be smart in how you handle your pursuit for greatness because you cannot afford to have the negative voices win. Being misunderstood is a large part of the game. This is because you are the only one who can see your dream. At least no one can see and feel it as clearly and as close as you can. Some might totally miss the point while others do not bother to even attempt to see things from your perspective. Sometimes you will walk alone, sometimes you will be the only one who understands you and it can get lonely. But the other option of just putting your dreams on a shelf is way riskier. It is better the shot you took and missed than the dormant ideas and plans that you have no idea whether they would have worked or not.
