Mavoko MP Patrick Makau has assured NASA supporters that Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka will not quit the opposition as it has been allegedly speculated in sections of the media outlets.

Addressing residents at Athi -River Town on Wednesday, Makau said that Kalonzo is in NASA to stay.

The Wiper MP stated that the former Vice President (VP) is committed to NASA and will not be wooed or lured to exit.

“Kalonzo has an agreement with NASA affiliate parities and cannot abandon the alliance as being purported in the media,” he said.

Makau also rubbished claims that there is frosty relationship been Wiper politicians and their counterparts in other NASS affiliate parties.

He said that NASA politicians are working together adding that their agenda is the same.

“We (NASA politicians) are together and we will remain united to fight for electoral justice and reforms in our country,” the Wiper legislator said.

There have been speculations that Kalonzo could bolt out of NASA after Raila Odinga withdrew from the October 26 repeat presidential poll.

Speculations have also been rife that Wiper party politicians are feeling discontented  after the formation of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Kalonzo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raila that will see him   fly NASA’s presidential flag in the 2022 presidential election.

However there are fears that Raila could lobby and push to fly the flag in 2022 if the Supreme Court upholds president elect Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
