The misconception is that when a woman takes into account a man's financial stability, she is a gold digger. That is not a fair analysis. The rate of divorce is disturbing. Reasons range from infidelity, financial disagreements, drug abuse to domestic violence. Even with a couple with none of the above, other forms of rifts do appear. For instance, selfish tendencies or not giving someone enough attention can still lead to divorce. My point is, even with a strong relationship, drifting apart is not hard. So how is a woman to prepare for any possible tumultuous time in a relationship? Well, you can love someone all you can but you cannot ensure that they never betray you. The best a woman can hope for is financial stability and building her career to satisfaction. A man with money offers these options. Getting cheated on by a broke man almost always leaves you with nothing. All you carry is a broken heart and a bunch of regrets. A man with money has the ability to leave something behind for you to look at. You could get a house, car, introduced opportunities or even a boost in career from them. It is not a complex calculation. If a broke man might turn your world upside down anyway, it is then better the man with money. At least money will be one less problem in the relationship.
