Kalonzo Musyoka led party Wiper has failed as far as contributing to the National Resistance Movement (NRM) is concerned. As the former Vice President nurses his beloved wife in German, his Wiper affiliate juniors are politically sleeping.
They are missing in action whenever NRM generals are articulating their agenda. Whether they are running the financial section of the resistance movement or not, Wiper has failed in Kalonzo’s absence.
When you analyze NRM, western is well represented while Luo Nyanza is the backbone of opposition. Being a party that produced a running mate in the August presidential race, Wiper ought to live to its expectations. It has to showcase the resistance in it.
Who in Wiper can match the passion with which former Kakakmega Senator Boni Khalwale is fighting for NRM ideologies? The dominantly Ukambani party has let its defector and former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama to run affairs for them. The fearless Muthama made it clear that he is not part of Wiper hence his contribution is as personal as he vowed after defecting.
