This is after Governor Ali Hassan Joho held initial discussion with the KRA board members chaired by Amb. Francis Muthaura who paid him a courtesy call in his office on Tuesday.

"I will engage other national government agencies in realizing the project which is anchored in the Mombasa Vision 2035," he said.

Meanwhile, the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade) Board chairman Suleiman Shahbal paid a courtesy call to the PS for Trade Dr Chris Kiptoo where they discussed ways at which KenTrade can be improved.

KenTrade is a state agency under the National Treasury mandated to facilitate cross border trade and establish, manage and implement the National Electronic Single Window System (Kenya TradeNet System).

A recent IFC study shows that KenTrade has saved Kenya over Sh24 billion in cost savings.
