The youths claimed that they were invited to attend a function which Uhuru was presiding but, the organizers failed to honor a promise they made.

"We don't want to see Uhuru next time in Kisii after the organisers of the International Youths day robbed us our Sh1000 allowances which was to serve as our fare back home but, the committee escaped with the money after President Uhuru left Kisii," said Zack Oanda, one of the youths.

Mr Oanda said no youth will attend any of President Uhuru Kenyatta's function in Kisii again after their allowances ended up into some few pockets.

"Walter Nyambane who led a team of the organisers have switched off their phones until. We will disrupt any function attended by Uhuru in Kisii County," he added.

Brian Aming'a, another youth stated that President Uhuru's efforts to end theft of public resources will not work since some individuals are only focused on filling their stomachs.

"Uhuru should stop wasting time-fighting corruption since some people are not ready to stop. The youths who attended International Youths day at Kisii High school must be paid their Sh1000 allowance," he said.

The youths were speaking on Wednesday during a press address at Kisii hotel.
