Babu on Thursday said it was wrong for Sonko to demolish city buildings built on riparian land and leave those constructed on allegedly, grabbed land.

Weston Hotel, owned by the DP was built on a piece of land that is said to belong to Langata Primary School in Nairobi.

"I expect my brother Mike Sonko to walk the talk," Babu said in a tweet on Thursday.

"We all want to see Langata Primary School get back their land from Weston Hotel."

Ruto's establishment has not sat very well with some people who claim that the land in which it was built on belongs to Langata Primary School.

Babu’s sentiments come amid a crackdown which has seen several buildings in the city built on riparian land or on public land demolished.

On Wednesday, Southend Mall in Eastlands was demolished.
