Kisii residents have been warned against causing fracas when President Uhuru Kenyatta will tour Kisii county on Wednesday, February 201, 2019.

Kisii commissioner Godfrey Kigochi assured that there are enough security officers to provide security during the President's visit. 

"The Head of State will be in Kisii to bring goodies. We have a team of officers ready to offer security during that day. Residents are advised to maintain law and order," he said.

According to the county security boss, residents should be happy with the Head of State's visit since he will be commissioning an number of projects at Kisii Referral hospital. 

He assured that security patrols have been intensified to ensure criminals are kept off. 

"Residents should report strange happenings to authorities. We must all be ready to make the President tour a success," noted Kigochi. 

Kigochi appealed to leaders irrespective of their political parties to embrace unity. 

"Leaders should not incite supporters to insult each other during the president's visit. The President must be respected and it will be a good platform for leaders to show respect to each other," the county boss stated.
