Speaking on Friday when he commissioned a dormitory at the Sacho Primary School in Baringo, Moi reminded parents of the importance of investing in their children's dreams.

The Kenya African National Union (Kanu) chairman, who was hosted by the school’s headteacher Edwin Kiptui, pleaded with parents to sacrifice more for the sake of their children so that they can end up reaping more when they complete their education.

He argued that education is one of the best investments in life, adding that parents who ensure their children are in school are a gift from heaven. The lawmaker further noted that every child deserves to be educated.

“Enroll your children in school. Let them get educated. That is today’s world bullet and rifle,” said the senator.

He also urged residents in the county to visit his office so as to gather more information about the Sh200 million he initiated that is aimed at boosting businesses and empowering the youth.

“Visit my office in Kabarnet and you will be advised of the requirement,” he said.

The senator was accompanied by Kabarak Vice Chancellor Henry Kiplagat and Sacho High School Trust General Manager Richard Moindi.
