In a secret letter copied to the governor on Tuesday, Nyaribo accuses Nyagarama of short-changing him over MoU they had signed while also complaining of the governor rejecting his calls.

"This is to inform you that we had a power sharing arrangement where we should have positions divided equally.

"My calls are going unanswered and major decisions are being undertaken without my knowledge," he laments.

But a source privy to Nyagarama's meeting with Raila says the two leaders discussed about intrigues within the county government.

Raila had earlier been treated with drama when he attended funeral to Governor Nyagarama's son where Mr. Nyaribo was heckled.

"He asked the governor to bring the DG on board and iron out the issues. The PM is worried of derailed development due to internal wrangles," said the source.

Mr. Odinga was hosted at Nyagarama's Tente residence, an event that was given a wide berth by the deputy on Friday.

Throughout Nyagarama's absence in May and June, Nyaribo was temporary acting governor. The county boss had left for treatment in the US.

On Monday, the deputy governor is also expected to jet out to India for dialysis.
