The two lawyers were among other members of Awiti's legal team at the Court of Appeal.

Awiti on Thursday lost his seat at the Appeal Court in a petition filed by his main challenger in the concluded August 8 election Oyugi Magwanga, citing election anomalies.

The county chief on Saturday announced that he will move to the Supreme Court in pursuit of a positive outcome, following two defeats at both the appellate and High Courts.

In its ruling, the 3-judge bench under the representation of Justice Fatuma Sichale agreed with the petitioner that the election was not free and fair.

His fate now lies in the hands of his legal team which also brings on board lawyers Tom Ojienda, Ogada Meso and Melvin Okumu, who will be expected to save him from the pending rerun.

Amollo's legal prowess hit the headlines when he co-represented opposition leader Raila Odinga in his successful petition against President Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection in the same race, alongside Siaya Senator James Orengo.

He revealed the algorithm allegedly used to rig Raila out, in what has since seen him hired for many more petitions, most of which he has gone ahead to win.
